Ben moved to Lamar in 2010 the summer after he graduated high school after a deep God-encounter. Quickly he began to realize the call of God to ministry and made the decision to stay at LFMC. This came as a great earthly sacrifice to Ben, as he declined athletic and academic scholarships to come to Lamar right after high school.
Since the summer of 2010, Ben has faithfully served as an assistant youth pastor, youth mentor, ministry assistant, small group teacher, and children's church teacher.
Beginning in August of 2016 he became the full time LFMC high school and middle school youth pastor.
Ben married his wife, Tristen in 2017. They now have a wonderful baby boy, Garret. They both serve together to minister to our youth.
