Your level of obedience = your level of the God life

Isaiah 1:19-20 AMP 19 If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land; 20 But if you refuse and rebel, you will be devoured by the sword. For the mouth of the Lord has spoken it

Deuteronomy 28:1-2 NAS 1 Now it shall be, if you diligently obey the Lord your God, being careful to do all His commandments which I command you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth. 2 "All these blessings will come upon you and overtake you if you obey the Lord your God

  • Deuteronomy 28:15 THE MESSAGE Here's what will happen if you don't obediently listen to the Voice of God, your God, and diligently keep all the commandments and guidelines that I'm commanding you today. All these curses will come down hard on you

Psalms 81:10-16 AMP 10 I am the Lord your God, Who brought you up out of the land of Egypt. Open your mouth wide and I will fill it. 11 But My people would not hearken to My voice, and Israel would have none of Me. 12 So I gave them up to their own hearts' lust and let them go after their own stubborn will, that they might follow their own counsels. 13 Oh, that My people would listen to Me, that Israel would walk in My ways! 14 Speedily then I would subdue their enemies and turn My hand against their adversaries. 15 [Had Israel listened to Me in Egypt, then] those who hated the Lord would have come cringing before Him, and their defeat would have lasted forever. 16 [God] would feed [Israel now] also with the finest of the wheat; and with honey out of the rock would I satisfy you.

Grace gives us the ability to have forgiveness at any time and allows us not to live under condemnation and accusation

Obedience keeps us demon free, bondage free and approved to handle our Father’s kingdom.

People following the Lord usually don’t just make a decision to stop following

  • They separate themselves from the fuel of God through disobedience and slowly grow cold.

Song of Solomon 2:14-15 NAS 14 "O my dove, in the clefts of the rock, In the secret place of the steep pathway, Let me see your form, Let me hear your voice; For your voice is sweet, And your form is lovely." 15 "Catch the foxes for us, The little foxes that are ruining the vineyards, While our vineyards are in blossom."

Most believe they are ok with God because they make statements like: I'll never deny being a Christian, I love God

Is the little passive habits or things we allow ourselves to do uncontested that deteriorates or protection

Tie every action, word & belief to either heaven or hell

  • Then decide whether you want to do, say or believe it.

Hebrews 5:8-9 KJV 8 Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; 9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him

  • A true son learns from what doesn’t work and adjusts his life to be obedient to the newly found revelation.
  • Obedience isn’t just to the known commands, it’s finding out why your life isn’t working and adjusting

Fear of God is not being afraid of God

It's being scared of the authority you give up every time you violate God's commands

For those not in open sin This includes being Luke warm. Allowing passive flesh things

What stands in your way of being obedient?
