Apostolic Foundation

The apostle and prophet bring the Father’s voice

This is a fatherless generation

## stats on fatherless homes

When someone is raised without a father’s voice they think that a father’s voice is harsh

They’re used to having a mother’s attention

Chris Vallotton - “Apostleships” 54:04-55:23

In apostleships people gather around the Father’s voice through an apostle. In the standard religious system people gather around what they agree on or their similarities. The problem with this is that when the Father speaks new revelation outside of what they agree on those that receive it and expand because of the new wine value of it cause the wineskin of church belief system to burst

Vision of being suspended in air holding on to another’s hand with my eyes on God and their eyes on the people.

Ephesians 2:19-22 NAS 19 So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and are of God's household, 20 having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus Himself being the corner stone,  21 in whom the whole building, being fitted together, is growing into a holy temple in the Lord, 22 in whom you also are being built together into a dwelling of God in the Spirit.

If the foundation is off it throws the entire house off.

Matthew 7:24-27 NAS 24 "Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them, may be compared to a wise man who built his house on the rock.  25 "And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and yet it did not fall, for it had been founded on the rock.  26 "Everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not act on them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand.  27 "The rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and it fell — and great was its fall."

  • I spent the first number of years being tossed around by every thought that came into my head.
  • I had a head belief that healing was from God but the thoughts of unbelief flooded me when I prayed for people
  • I walked in condemnation believing God was always mad at me.
  • I was able to skip across the fun things but wasn’t able to debate or explain the truths of the bible
    • Until I founded myself on THE Word

What are some foundational aspects of a Christian life?

  1. Relationship/shown intent/provision
  2. Obedience/discipline
  3. Fear of the Lord/the beginning
  4. Grace/

The apostles and prophets bring instruction and correction on how to build where we’re attached to Christ

From a coach’s point of view most young players don’t like fundamental drills

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of:

  • wisdom - Proverbs 9:10
  • knowledge - Proverbs 1:7
  • wisdom - Psalms 111:10

The apostle is the blue print reader, instructing people how to build their lives in God.

1 Corinthians 3:10-15 NAS 10 According to the grace of God which was given to me, like a wise master builder I laid a foundation, and another is building on it. But each man must be careful how he builds on it. 11 For no man can lay a foundation other than the one which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 Now if any man builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, 13 each man's work will become evident; for the day will show it because it is to be revealed with fire, and the fire itself will test the quality of each man's work. 14 If any man's work which he has built on it remains, he will receive a reward. 15 If any man's work is burned up, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.

2 Timothy 4:2-4 AMP: 2 Herald and preach the Word! Keep your sense of urgency [stand by, be at hand and ready], whether the opportunity seems to be favorable or unfavorable. [Whether it is convenient or inconvenient, whether it is welcome or unwelcome, you as preacher of the Word are to show people in what way their lives are wrong.] And convince them, rebuking and correcting, warning and urging and encouraging them, being unflagging and inexhaustible in patience and teaching. 3 For the time is coming when [people] will not tolerate (endure) sound and wholesome instruction, but, having ears itching [for something pleasing and gratifying], they will gather to themselves one teacher after another to a considerable number, chosen to satisfy their own liking and to foster the errors they hold, 4 And will turn aside from hearing the truth and wander off into myths and man-made fictions.

There are many places in the bible including the parable of the 10 virgins that show us we can miss participation in things God is doing.

Luke 6:46-49 NAS 46 "Why do you call Me, 'Lord, Lord,' and do not do what I say?  47 "Everyone who comes to Me and hears My words and acts on them, I will show you whom he is like:  48 he is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid a foundation on the rock; and when a flood occurred, the torrent burst against that house and could not shake it, because it had been well built.  49 "But the one who has heard and has not acted accordingly, is like a man who built a house on the ground without any foundation; and the torrent burst against it and immediately it collapsed, and the ruin of that house was great."
