*Age of Restoration – Several weeks ago the Father announced to us that the age of restoration has begun according to Joel 2.  We are now in the stage of getting restored, getting fully aligned with the Father’s heart and getting fully healed of defilements from wounds and backslidings.

*Sum up “No Fear Year 2015” to enter into the next year.  This year has been a time of confronting all types of fear and intimidation.  It is time to choose and give our whole hearts, minds and bodies to Jesus.  Now is the time for a fresh baptism of LOVE.  In our human frailty we have no power to love with our own strength.  We must decrease so He can increase.  We must lay our lives down in order to live in Him.

*We are in a war for LOVE

*Our assignment is to OVERCOME at every level He brings us to.  This is how we take the land of inheritance for ourselves, our families and our cities.

Luke 21:25-28 - 25 “And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; 26 men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 27 Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.” NKJV

  • Hearts failing them (Strong’s) - apopsucho (ap-ops-oo'-kho); to breathe out, i.e. faint

KJV - hearts failing.

  • Fear (Strong’s) - phobos (fob'-os); (to be put in fear); alarm or fright:

KJV - be afraid, exceedingly, fear, terror.

*Fear is love's enemy. Fear comes in many forms. Fear brings torment, not peace.

*Fear can only be overcome by experiencing God’s love inside our being.

*2 Timothy 1:7 - God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

1 John 4:15-21 - 15 Whoever confesses and acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. 16 We have come to know [by personal observation and experience], and have believed [with deep, consistent faith] the love which God has for us. God is love, and the one who abides in love abides in God, and God abides continually in him. 17 In this [union and fellowship with Him], love is completed and perfected with us, so that we may have confidence in the day of judgment [with assurance and boldness to face Him]; because as He is, so are we in this world. 18 There is no fear in love [dread does not exist]. But perfect (complete, full-grown) love drives out fear, because fear involves [the expectation of divine] punishment, so the one who is afraid [of God’s judgment] is not perfected in love [has not grown into a sufficient understanding of God’s love]. 19 We love, because [b]He first loved us. 20 If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates (works against) his [Christian] brother he is a liar; for the one who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen. 21 And this commandment we have from Him, that the one who loves God should also [unselfishly] love his brother and seek the best for him.

What Does Love Look Like?

  • Jesus isn't mad at you. He just has a better way.
  • Jesus’ short journey with the disciples for 3 ½ years was to display the better Way and to model the difference between Love and Fear.  He was constantly separating and dividing the difference.
  • Love lays down its life.
    • John 15:13 - There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for his friends. NASB
  • Love gives.
    • Acts 20:35 - It’s more blessed to give than to receive. NASB
  • Love never fails.
    • 1 Corinthians 13:8 - NASB
  • Love is more powerful than sin.
    • 1 Corinthians 15:56-57 - 56 For sin is the sting that results in death, and the law gives sin its power. 57 But thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ. NLT
  • Love is what heals us from the inside out.
    • Psalm 147:3 - He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. NASB
  • Love takes risks.
    • Ephesians 4:15 - 15 but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Christ, 16 from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love. NASB
  • Love gives freedom of choice to others.
    • Galatians 5:13 - For you were called to freedom, brethren; only do not turn your freedom into an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. NASB
  • Darkness never overpowered the light.
    • John 1:1-5 - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men. 5 The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. NASB
    • Jesus BECAME the WORD.
      • John 1:14 - And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth. NASB
    • 1 Corinthians 13:8 (refer to whole chapter) AMP

Separating Love and Fear - OUR CHOICE

  • No outside source can separate you from the love of God.
  • Romans 8:31-39 - 35 Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? 36 (As the Scriptures say, “For your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep.”) 37 No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.

38 And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. 39 No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

  • Only WE can separate ourselves from God and His love. NASB

We are in a War for Love

  • Because of our free will, only we can separate ourselves from the love of God.
  • Choosing fear can separate us from Love.
  • Our will is involved in overcoming fear.  God cannot do this for us or He would violate our choice.
  • The earth journey will always be in confronting and overcoming fear.
    • He who overcomes to the end will be saved.
    • Deceiving spirits try to tell us that there is some place of arrival that we won’t have to overcome anymore.
    • Jesus already did the work to make this better way.  Our job is to follow His voice and stay hidden in Him so that we always overcome fear.

Symptoms of Fear

  • LIE – Fear is not normal and should not be pitied.
  • Controlling yours and others circumstances instead of submitting to God and inquiring His plan through prayer and surrender.
  • Fear restricts healing by guarding wounds inside our soul from traumatic memories.
  • Attempting to fill our perceived needs with anything other than God (turns into idols).
  • Phobias, nightmares, superstition, sickness, death, worry, excessive timidity, stress, psychological complexes, heart attacks, lack, procrastination, sluggishness, etc.
  • Fear causes impatience, anger, insecurity, double-mindedness, bitterness, resentment, jealousy, greed, rebellion, stubbornness, lying, etc.

How Do We Overcome?

  • Give up your old self.  Determine you are a new creature by faith.
    • Colossians 3:3 - For you died [to this world], and your [new, real] life is hidden with Christ in God. AMP
  • Choose to die to the old self daily.
    • Matthew 16:24-26 - 24 Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me. 25 For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it; but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. 26 For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? NASB
  • Love is only filled by surrendering our full heart, mind, will and emotions to God.
  • Believe the Word of God concerning fear and declare it over yourself and your family out loud.
    • Psalm 56:3 - When I am afraid, I will put my trust in You. NASB
    • Psalm 91 – Stay under the shelter. AMP

Who’s Side Will We Be On?

Captivated by Jesus (Who is Love)

  • Jesus will have a Bride who will love Him whole-heartedly until the accuser is finally cast down before He comes.
  • Revelation 12:10-1110 Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. NKJV
  • Are we fully convinced He is the Way? Does fear get to be our Lord?
  • The season now is to be cleansed of fear, get healed from the wounds of fear, and surrender to Jesus with our whole hearts.
  • The accuser is going to be cast down by our whole-hearted, fiery love for Jesus. The ones whose fiery passionate love consumes them will cast down the accuser in the end.  The corporate unity of this fire will make us impenetrable and cast him from his self-made thrones over cities and regions.
  • In order to show the world His Glory we must go to the High Places of Love.
    • Habukkuk 3:19 – The Lord God is my strength, And He has made my feet like hinds’ feet, And makes me walk on my high places. NASB
    • In Hebrew, the word for "hind" is 'ayalah, and means "doe or deer." Deer are ungulates, or hoofed mammals. Their legs are well suited for running, whether chasing during the rut or evading danger. Deer also possess a great leaping ability. They bound swiftly across a dense forest or prairie, often jumping 8 feet into the air. The strong muscles of a deer's hind legs provide most of the power for running and jumping. The front legs are ideal for pivoting, allowing a deer to make sharp turns. The top speed of the whitetail is about 35 miles per hour. Whitetails are also good swimmers.” (
