God gave Adam dominion over the world and it’s systems

  • It was his to use or lose
    • He gave it to the devil and made him the God of the world.
      • The cross restored our ability to take, or now retake, that dominion
        • Godless, faithless & powerless people will never retake dominion.

Here is dominion or power:

  • Power over our thoughts producing actions
  • Power over our emotions producing character
  • Power over our fears producing fearlessness
  • Power over our lives/time/schedules producing diligence

Evangelist Winkie Pratney once told a story about a pastor's wife who was jogging one day when she saw a man dressed in white standing in a cornfield. The pastor's wife had been going through a difficult trial, and when she saw this man, whom she recognized as Jesus, He said to her: "Don't you know who I am? Don't you know who you are? When you know this, it is not really as hard as you think."

  • Jesus sat down at the right hand of the Father waiting for His body to be filled with what He purchased on the cross.

Ephesians 1:18-23 NAS 18 I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, 19 and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of the strength of His might 20 which He brought about in (through) Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places,  21 far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. 22 And He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as head over all things to the church, 23 which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.

Hebrews 1:13 NLT And God never said to any of the angels, "Sit in the place of honor at my right hand until I humble your enemies, making them a footstool under your feet.

Acts 1:8 NAS but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you

Stop being weak and running from every frightful thing

Power over the devil. Sickness. Wounds. Families, Weakness

1 Peter 3:22 AMP [And He] has now entered into heaven and is at the right hand of God, with [all] angels and authorities and powers made subservient to Him.

Some in the body are now, by faith, taking dominion over their lives

  • This is producing the ability to have good church and clear the air in their towns
    • We need more to take more land

The Seventh Trumpet — Kingdoms Restored

Revelation 5:1-5 NAS 1 I saw in the right hand of Him who sat on the throne a book written inside and on the back, sealed up with seven seals. 2 And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, "Who is worthy to open the book and to break its seals?" 3 And no one in heaven or on the earth or under the earth was able to open the book or to look into it. 4 Then I began to weep greatly because no one was found worthy to open the book or to look into it; 5 and one of the elders said to me, "Stop weeping; behold, the Lion that is from the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has overcome (Gr. subdued by conquest) so as to open the book and its seven seals."

The trumpet judgments were in the 7th seal

Revelation 11:15 NAS Then the seventh angel sounded; and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, "The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ; and He will reign forever and ever.

5 Reasons Believers Don't Walk in Power

  1. Sin
  2. Ignorance
  3. Unbelief
  4. Fear
  5. Prayerlessness

5 Reasons defined

  1. Sin
    1. When we habitually sin, we come under Satan's authority, and he has legal rights over us until we repent
  2. Ignorance
    1. In Hosea 4:6, God declares, "'My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.'"
    2. God’s people are being destroyed by the ignorance of their authority in Christ.
  3. Unbelief
    1. Not being fully convinced in our authority of things allow the devil into our lives
  4. Fear
    1. To defeat fear we need power, love and a controlled mind.
    2. We run from things that we are to attack
  5. Prayerlessness
    1. Luke 18:1 AMP ALSO [Jesus] told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not to turn coward (faint, lose heart, and give up).
