When our lives fail there’s always hope ahead and never behind in our failure.

Poster #1: Future better than imagined

When we fail the voice of accusation, guilt & fear causes us to hold on to our failures thus holding us to the past.

  • Regret, remorse, fear of punishment, fear of other’s judgement,

  • If your sorrow doesn’t cause you to go forward it isn’t from God.

2 Corinthians 7:10-11 NLT 10 For the kind of sorrow God wants us to experience leads us away from sin and results in salvation. There's no regret for that kind of sorrow. But worldly sorrow, which lacks repentance, results in spiritual death. 11 Just see what this godly sorrow produced in you! Such earnestness, such concern to clear yourselves, such indignation, such alarm, such longing to see me, such zeal, and such a readiness to punish wrong. You showed that you have done everything necessary to make things right.

God doesn’t get offended over our mistakes and hold them against us.

  • Even if we’ve failed or done something that didn’t work out we need to let it go or it’ll hold us to the past.

Philippians 3:7-15 NAS 7 But whatever things were gain to me, those things I have counted as loss for the sake of Christ. 8 More than that, I count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them but rubbish so that I may gain Christ, 9 and may be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my own derived from the Law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which comes from God on the basis of faith, 10 that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death; 11 in order that I may attain to the resurrection from the dead. 12 Not that I have already obtained it or have already become perfect, but I press on so that I may lay hold of that for which also I was laid hold of by Christ Jesus. 13 Brethren, I do not regard myself as having laid hold of it yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

Poster #2: Worry doesn’t empty…troubles

  • To get the kingdom we even have to leave natural things behind.

Luke 9:62 AMP Jesus said to him, No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back [to the things behind] is fit for the kingdom of God.

A new future is not hard...Believe you can have it and make decisions in conjunction with it.

Poster #3: Small changes make big differences

Every day i can choose to be a brand new person because of God’s complete forgiveness and His good plan for your life.

As recent as yesterday's failures will now try to define my future.

Victories carry over. Failures don't have to if we'll leave them behind

We try to make sense of things that have happened to us.

  • Can a kid still in immaturity understand that spanking
  • Can a kid understand why he can't have candy and pop to eat all the time
    • As adults, filled with mature knowledge, now understand the whys.

We need to let it go, trusting God with our lives and not begrudging things we've gone thru to get us to where we are now.
